And Now For Something Completely Different

When Harry and I do our (almost) daily walk around the neighborhood, we photograph a lot more than chalk on the sidewalks or driveways. The majority of homes have fenced-in backyards, but almost none of the adjoining fences match. so I have been doing a series I'm calling "Good Fences Make Good Neighbors." Styles vary seemingly correlating with the installation date. The newest ones are plastic. Harry likes fences because the dogs behind them usually leave interesting smells for him to find. Occasionally they are there, too, to bark with him.

I like the concept. Thoughts about shooting from Harry’s vantage point and have his head in the shot looking at the fences for a tie-in?

Good idea, but I have enough trouble standing upright so getting down to his level is something I don't do without a mattress below.

Gotcha, in that case a great genesis to this series nonetheless and look forward to seeing more. Cheers.

Austin, Texas Blue Hour

Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.

Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Two from Tenerife

My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Any interest in this group?

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
