Garden at the end of the earth

What to do when you realise camera battery is flat.
First, berate myself soundly for still not getting around to buying a second one !! Second, wait for battery to recharge ... nope I'm not that patient.
Third, drag out the old Olympus E-420 (just enough charge in that battery), listen to the whizz, bang, pop, fizzle sounds it makes as I take a photo and grimace.
Fourth, hope for the best.

Just love the tones and colors in this photo, extremely pleasing.

We haven't had rain in weeks, so everything is brown, crunchy and dying (outside the marshes which have already lost their Spring colors).

Thanks Joe ! The fog has just lifted here and everything is damp after a day of rain. Nature is so confused .. we have just started winter and the apple tree still has leaves and the King Parrots are enjoying the small crop of apples 🙂

Hah nice! We are headed into the heat of Summer yourselves. Love Autumn and can't wait for it to come around in a few months.

We seem to have retired Autumn and Spring altogether.

Beautiful image Sandra. I'm with Joe on the heat here in the US, even up North in Vermont. Too hot to really get out and shoot, so dedicating time to catch up on tasks (and charge those batteries.....)
