First time trying out the Silver Efex Pro 2 in Nik Collection (Black and White Film), thinking of having a start on B&W photography.
Any comments?
I'd love to hear from you guys :-D
Silver Efex is certainly a great tool to use for B&W conversion. As with any other work it is important that the initial subject and composition are sound.
I like the minimalistic approach to this. If it were mine I would play about with cropping to see if I could squeeze anything out of it.
Just included something for comparison, but obviously go with what feels best for you.
Thanks for your comment! The only reason I didn't crop this your way in the first place is that I wanted to conceal the fact that the perspective is impossible to correct (on the right part of the image there is a slight slant in the building). Anyways, thanks for your opinion, and I haven't even thought of it as minimalist until you posted this!
