I'm still working the power-towers at my local Marsh / Wildlife preserve. No themes this time, just practicing moire and halo removal/control when dealing with golden-hour on wires.
Photo taken today, nothing added or drastically changed, those were the clouds at that moment.
First image is my basic edit I'd normally do to a photo: basic edits tab in lightroom, 1 pass at noise removal, and loading it into Aurora (then exiting without changing anything for a minor DHR "pop" for the clouds).
Second image is identical, but also added texturing to see if it would bring the overall image into a more harmonious state; at 25% strength as trying not to overpower the original image. Use the arrow keys to toggle between the two.
Thoughts and feedback is always welcomed.
Hi. Not clear what exactly you want this discussion for...
Just general feedback, second attempt at "texturing"; apparently I made it too subtle this time around. Doh! :)
Lovely color in the sky Joe! I think the editing is well done. I don't see a difference between the first and second but I'm on my phone so i can't open it up much. I don't notice any halos though. It would be interesting to see the raw file.
Happy to post the Raw. The Left is straight from camera, and the Right is After basic adjustments before I brought it into Photoshop.(for denoise and aurora).
The Setting sun in this image is 120~ degrees off my left shoulder.
I can't see the difference on my 24" monitor, Joe.
Perhaps I was a little "too" subtle with the textured version. haha. But toggling between the two, the second (textured) appears more warm in the foreground greens?
Ohh... yeahhh...!
And I thought I agonised over details... ;-)
haha! Yeah it is very subtle. I'll have to boost it a little. :)
