Fake Reflections are ...

Horrible? Fun?

Hello friends! I've been away and haven't been contributing much. Hope to get back in thee groove here.

Here is a little bit of fun to start. I have never played around with software that does reflections. But, it's fun to try new things so...... What do you think about these?

All feedback welcome.

Hi Ruth, I like them both... it might be fun but it also results in some very interesting shots...

Interesting work Ruth. I'm wondering what the shell image may look like rotated left/right? I think that may ask interesting questions of the viewer.

I have to admit that playing around with this is kinda fun!

Well done, love the symmetry and that you added ripples. The second one stands out to me with the more intimate crop.

Cool in the right hands. Unfortunately, there are only a few like you around.

Very smart...wiping everything into whiteness in the first photo perfectly conveys the endlessness and vastness of the scene...couldn't have thought of a better alternative myself!

Hi Ruth,
For reflections, 1,2 & 5 looks good with little waves.
if you may please, how did you do it? software and flow?

Austin, Texas Blue Hour

Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.

Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Two from Tenerife

My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Any interest in this group?

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
