These both come from a series of 19 ITR images capturing a lamp illuminating a city park.
My preference with this type of work of late has been to preserve some of the background detail to help build the story but I'm not sure it works in this case.
Feedback on which works best for you would be appreciated, along with any comments on the work in general.
After toggling between the two, I like the one on the Right.
The detail in the light source as well as behind the branch of the tree add dimension. A bit crisper as well.
But that just me.
I like them both. I like the tree but I also like the minimalist one.
I love both of these, Alan! The first one is my favorite (without the tree). I love the swirl on the ground below the light, and the building in the background. Great work on this!
