These images all descend from the same image sources. It was a rainy day almost four years ago and we had just had brunch with our daughter at the Black Dog Irish bar across the intersection. The food was pretty good, in case you happen to be in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia.
These edits, regardless of the metadata, were processed separately over the years because I was never fully happy with the results. Maybe it was the rain. More likely that it turned into a picture of a mostly empty intersection.
I moved the camera too much to make the various images overlap perfectly. (You can see I quit trying so hard on the third try.) I went back to the third edit this evening and added the border and fill. I may try again, but I suspect I am trying to fix something beyond repair.
What we are left with is an illustration of how various approaches can change the results.
When I first looked at these, I thought it couldn't be where you're living because it is getting quite dry out there lately. LOL! We were just driving along the Juniata, and it is really looking weak. Anyway, I like the third one down. I think it best represents the subject abstractly. All the photos really convey (especially with the colors) that rainy Pennsylvania feeling in summer - at least when it rains!
