ITR Fail

Just thought I'd post this as insight for others.
I was shooting this remnant of Fall foliage as an ITR project, planning to get a number of shots around the tree to really scramble the background.
Sadly, 8 shots in my SD card failed and has become unreadable. I was able to recover 6 of those 8 shots (2 were corrupted) and decided to see what I could produce with the limited angles.

Not a great image by any respect, just thought I'd post to record the experience. Have others witnessed SD failures and had to recover data/reformat the card?
