ICM simulation - a practical comparison

Just a quick announcement. I have recently added a blog entry to my site which shows how Photoshop Path Blur can be used to simulate images taken using camera movement. My intent is to highlight this as a tool for those wishing to get an understanding how different camera movements, angles etc can impact a scene.

I just wanted to prove to myself that results can be closely simulated, In this case by taking a 'straight' shot from my recent hike and seeing if I could come close to an ICM images taken at the same location.

I have included the true ICM image, and the non-ICM that has path blur applied to simulate the ICM effect (I'm unsure which is which....).

If interested, here is a link to the blog entry;

No need to comment (although all feedback is certainly appreciated), I just wanted to make folks aware in case they are interested in learning more about the effect of camera movement on subjects.
