May Challenge - C.A. ~ Camera and Post Processing Fun

My first photo "Trip Train" is a cellphone capture from many years ago has recently been updated for the "Trip" aspect. Just playing around in Photoshop and on the train tracks. I wanted to include it...so there!

The second photo "Mat" is using a pinhole body cap that achieves the opposite as you would expect from "Pinhole". I combined with an in-camera double exposure, one landscape and the other portrait, as well as high ISO. This is a rubber door mat on brick with lots of leaf mulch beneath.

f/185 ~ 1/20th ~ ISO 65535 ~ 50mm

The third photo "Plant" I chose a pinhole body cap. I combined it with IBIS: High Resolution and ICM knowing it would cause artificing. IBIS: High Resolution is Canon's version of Pixel Shift. This is a Nandina Domestica and the berries.

f/185 ~ 1/2 ~ ISO 6400 ~ 50mm

The fourth photo "Towels" is again playing with pinhole body cap and ICM. As you can imagine this is just one beach towel horizontal and another vertical...no magic there.

f/185 ~ 1 sec ~ ISO 6400

_____________________________________________________________

In the final photo "Water", I only used IBIS: High Resolution on a moving subject. I like the artificing effect along with the odd angles of flowing water.

f/7.1 1/160 ~ ISO 50 ~ 428mm

Plant and Water are my favorite.

You have certainly posted a wide variety of experiments here Dean. Kudos to you for pushing those boundaries.

As with Jenny I am enjoying the first image the most, and appreciate the exaggerated colors. You used a graduated PS filter to get the fluid result, correct?

Close. The cellphone camera app for colors.
