I found this little guy, a couple of days ago. It's a final-stage nymph of a green shield bug (Palomena prasina). Green shield bug is a more appropriate description than the German word "Grüne Stinkwanze" which means (roughly translated) "Green Stink Bug". ;)

Down on the waterfront this morning, tide was out, Heron were sitting along the water fishing. There was a boat coming across the water from Bremerton heading into Port Orchard.
