Aphids
Some Aphids shot 1-1 on a micro 4/3 sensor. First 2 are the full pics second are crops of the first 2 rotated to try and make more interesting compositions. I think I actually caught a birth. Any CC is always welcome!

Foggy start to a Sunday morning
Down on the waterfront this morning, tide was out, Heron were sitting along the water fishing. There was a boat coming across the water from Bremerton heading into Port Orchard.

They are great! As far as I know, aphids are born pregnant and give live birth.
I'm only missing the ants, shepherd them. Or a ladybug eating them... ;)
Thanks! From the little bit I've read about them most are born live, but in the fall they lay eggs and sit dormant for the winter and hatch in the spring.
I saw a few ants, but didn't notice any shepherding. Was looking for
ladybugs or ladybug nymphs, but couldn't find any. I would love to get a good pic of a cute little ladybug doing something not so cute. Not that I want to see my subjects being eaten, but they are getting out of hand and Ladybugs gotta eat too.
And at the end, it's the circle of life.
