Hello to every one out there reading this, either professional retouchers or those who just got started or even only interested in retouching...
my name is Farbod... Photographer, Cinematographer, Retoucher & Colorist from Iran.
You can find me on Instagram @farbodgreen or 500px.com/FarbodGreen
Im sure we all share the same feeling, thirsty to see the original images and all the process that has been done on it that became the excellent photo we see on portfolios. To be honest all of them went through Photoshop, Lightroom, CaptureOne or any other post-processing programs in-order to achieve the perfect result; and for that there are many aspects from pre-processing to post-processing an image by many different techniques and tools, but the key to success is to be patient and precise.
Here i wanna share with you one of the images from my last retouch project i've done for a very talented friend of mine "Carmen Carreno", The skin retouch has been done entirely with Dodge & Burn technique, and later i did some final edits on brightness, contrast, liquify, retouching bra and fake lens flairs.
This Image took about 3h 30min of dodge & burn + almost 1 hour for final touchups
You can watch the full retouch process in timelaps on YouTube - https://youtu.be/W8G9W_zS_kk
