This is my very first "long exposure." It was only a few seconds, I don't remember how long exactly. This was taken back in 2010 and the vehicle and base no longer exist. (NIKON D7000, ƒ/4, 1/10, 18mm, ISO4500)
The very, very bright light source on the right image isn't really helping. It draws a lof of attention.
I get that you're not completely free to move around, let alone take pictures, in such situations. But I think even in this scene there was a lot of potential. A bit of colour in the sky, 15-30 min after sunset for example, or a sky with some stars could really add some mood to the shot. As it is shown here it is a bit "flat",
When I took this, I think I had my camera for maybe 3 weeks. I was excited just to have it. This was taken sometime between 12am and 3am if memory serves me correctly.
