Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Austin, Texas Blue Hour
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Hi Anand, thank you for sharing your image.
The biggest mistake I see is the location of your watermark, try putting it on the left corner since to me it looks like she's about to step on it!
Also she seems trap in the frame, a little wider to the right would help. Lighting and the b&w conversion is fine other that you could used a fill light or a reflector to light her legs better, could be done in post. Hair light could be a big stronger again could be fixed in post.
The way I see her pose and the lighting to me it looks like if you took a shot while she was posing for another photographer, she doesn't seem comfortable in front of the camera but all and all you're on the right track!
Hope this helps.
Thanks Marc. All valid and useful.
Never thought about the watermark placement, now cannot look away.
The posing was a result of me asking her to face away from camera and into the light. Looks like this does not work.
I like the backlit hair, but also would like to see more detail in the hair that's in the shadows.
Thanks Marcin. I will look into placing the hair light differently next time.
