Have you tried using just one light for a studio portrait and did it work out the way you expected? I used a 42" x 32" Photoflex softbox on my Photogenic strobe for this portrait and was pleased with the results. My standard lighting set-up includes four lights... main, fill, hair and background but sometimes less is better. What do you think?
