Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Austin, Texas Blue Hour
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Tough choice. I like #1 for its High Key look and #2 for the texture. If I have to make a choice then its #2 but, it would have to be printed, framed and hung over the fireplace.
Yes, tough choice for sure! I too am a fan of large printed & framed photographs. tHANKs for your response!
I'll have to say No.1 since there's no texture at all in her skin unless you give her skin some texture too in No.2.
I find her pose odd and I don't like the way her left arm is cropped.
I'm kinda leaning towards No.1 as well (I think... hahaha) Odd photographer = odd posing & cropping...chuckle, chuckle. Thank you for your comments, Marc.
2 :)
...tHANKs Wojtek!
Not an easy choice! Love both!
