Hey Ava, I love this pup and this picture! If you are interested I had just a couple pieces of advice!
The first is that the highlights look to be blown out slightly (or very close to) on his/her face, so try and expose for the whites!
The second is the composition. The gold leaves make for a great back drop, but the green at the top and the grey (pavement?) are distracting me from the adorable pup! So while it is usually best to shoot at eye level, maybe this pic could have benefited from shooting slightly down, or from a different angle. The grass isn't too bad, but you definitely want to get that grey out of there!

Agreed about the pavement, could easily clone that out to make a cleaner image. Still a solid shot and a great moment captured of the dog!
