In this picture I used 2 studio lamps, of which the studio front left, with an umbrella with a silver inside and the studio on the left of the model also provided with an umbrella, but with a white inside.
To the right I have a reflector to lift the shadow a bit.
Despite the fact that photography means writing with light, look especially shadow in a photo can mean and in what way you can get an atmosphere in a photo.
In this photo I put both studio lamps on the left side to increase the contrast between light and shadow.
The studio lamp on the left front I have taken a little bit to my side, to get the Rembrandt lighting in the picture.
Further in this photo, his face comes into its own, due to the contrast of the dark blue colors in his clothing and background and the warm skin tones of his face.
Leaning slightly forward causes stress to be placed on his face.
