Paul, you should indeed be please with these results. Good work.
Would love to see more if you've got some.
cheers

I like them, very nice but maybe the depth of field is too narrow, I think Hurley has everything in focus. But great stuff.

I believe in one of his videos he mentioned shooting at 6.7

yeah 6.3 so the eyes to ears are in focus - this looks like 2.8 on a 70-200mm ?

i like the shallow depth of field and that her top matches well with the background. I like the simple and minimal feel to these images!

Hi Paul,

I'm glad the tutorials fired you up in shooting headshots! The 2nd image is pretty good, although I'm not sure the expression in genuine. I'm not a fan of the silhouette on the first. With the neckline going one way and the head the other it looks a bit uncomfortable to me.

Austin, Texas Blue Hour

Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.

Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Two from Tenerife

My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Any interest in this group?

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
