Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Any interest in this group?
Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
Vintage Lenses
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

I think it a very good start. For me, and this is entirely personal, I would go more wide aspect ratio if seeking a cinematic feel, say 2.39:1, a favourite of mine to be open and honest. Next, I think she deserves a little work from a MUA and or a little retouching, frequency separation for instance, to help her cope with the dramatic lighting, which is quite cinematic. She has a good face and you have shot her well but she deserves more love to make her a screen godess, bu that is how they all get to be screen godesses.
