Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Any interest in this group?
Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
Vintage Lenses
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

Is that background real? It feels composited because the light on her is so even.
yes..its real background..i don`t do composite..
For me, the "unreal" feeling comes from the strong flash (probably around 30% or more contribution) and that gives the background with natural sunlight a fake feeling. This can be magnified if the subject is standing in shade and is standing against the brighter areas of the shot.
shot like this you should be focusing on the eyes.... i humbly think you miss the eyes
I agree. Looks like the focus hits the cheek. We've all been there though.
