Any interest in this group?
Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
Vintage Lenses
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

Nice!
The background in the bottom left corner is not white.
Well done!
I would have cropped significantly tighter for a 'headshot', which would also lose the back arm peaking out. I might also me inclined to leave a bit more space to the left, not a lot, just a bit...easy to do on a pure white background. As Tom says, the background, bottom left corner, is not white. That said, the image is solid in all other aspects from what I can see here.
Thanks guys. Keep them coming.
Nice job well done. keep shooting
Overall it is a nice shot. Exposure is a bit hot, skin looks a touch solarized, especially under the eyes, bridge of the nose and forehead. Highlights can be easily pulled back if shot raw. Also, there seem to be a lack of black detail in the photo (in the hair and the blouse) that render dark grey as opposed to rich black, that can also be darkened if shot raw in Lightroom or ACR (Adobe Camera Raw). Dark corner was already mentioned. I don't mind that she is not centered, but as a general rule you want your subject looking into the frame as opposed to out of it.
What is the context of this headshot, please? For an actor, a business professional?
