Natural light in a Parking Garage

I'm always have my eye out for places to shoot natural light. I had parked near the location where we were going to shoot and as we were leaving the garage we stopped to click a few.

Well done

thanks Tihomir.

I like it. The light is great. His eyes seem to be looking a bit too low....not directly into the lens, so he seems a bit distracted to me. His face is very flat to the camera as well, which can be ok, but maybe some angle would be good. I think it was shot from a bit above his eye level. You might try at eye level or just under. These are all pretty minor, but maybe they add up together. Would like to see more shots. Cheers!

Hi Eric. Thanks for the comments - all very useful. All those little things do add up and can definitely affect the final image.
I'm doing a couple of sessions early next week and may have more to share.
cheers

Cool, I'm glad you found them useful. There's always some trepidation with giving CC.

I agree. But, developing a critical eye and sharing your thoughts is a win win.

Amazing clarity!

thanks Michael.

Looks good. I would suggest either leaving more room above this head or crop more into the hair. You could try placing his eye near the top third of the shot and see where that lands you.

I agree about the crop. Definitely coming in a bit and losing a bit from the top. Thanks for the comment.

Nice shot here Bruce! Love the background and pose, there is a lot of strength and confidence in the body language. Eric mentioned the few things I would have, except for the shirt collar. Pretty minor thing, all around nice work!

I didn't even notice the shirt collar! Damn those little details! Thanks for the comment as always. Much appreciated. Cheers.
