Hello guys I'm Andre DeCordova Jamaican Photographer new to the site and group. I'm sharing a head shot that i took couples weeks ago and have doing a light retouch to it I would love the hear your guys creative comments on it and where improvement and such is needed.
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

Really like the light setup, give it a contrast-y look. ...I like the color version better than the b&w, only cause the b&w seems like it's needs a bit of bump on the exposure side.
Only improvement would be to not crop so tight. It just seems like a floating head, a bit more of the neck and shoulders, even if a tad, would make this a much stronger images.
Thanks very much! for pointing that out to be somewhat slipped my mind there, will work on better set-up with the images for crop*, and yeah it was to be viewed in color b&w shown because i worked with both for light variations.
