I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.

I wanted to see how my 50 year old Canon FD 800mm f/5.6 s.s.c. would handle photographing both the Sun and the Moon.

I would have kept him further from the background, he is casting a shadddow and this makes the image look 2D. Overall it is not bad. Of course his facial expression is very important in his headshot and initially I was not sure about this but with a minute or teo looking I quite like it now. I assume you offered him many options and he liked this one best?
