I wanted to see how my 50 year old Canon FD 800mm f/5.6 s.s.c. would handle photographing both the Sun and the Moon.

Very nice, but IMO the kickers are too strong. Parts of his skin are totally blown out.

Great photo, but the hair/kicker lights are a bit too hot. The kicker is casting a shadow on his neck from his shirt collar and top of his ear casting a shadow on his hair and face. Overall a great image. I like it.
