Mikkel Beiter's picture

Lofoten Seaweed

I would like some feedback on this one.
The sharpness of the photo is changed because of the upload to the site - so yes, I know it looks a bit unfocused but the original is sharp as a knife.

I really liked the idea of the green seaweed in contrast to the white snowy mountain.

I agree the green is what makes the image. Very nice subtle post-processing. I love it (;

Cheers for the lovely feedback! :)

Hi Mikkel,
I really like the lower 2/3rds of the image. Not much happening in the sky. I think it would be stronger overall by cropping some of the sky out...just enough to frame the hills.
Best...Mike

Thanks Mike! I'll think about it and give it a try to see if I like it. Thank you! :)

Well, if fstoppers.com/my phone/the WiFi would cooperate, I would love to see this photo and give you feedback. However, they are not, so unfortunately I will have to wait until later

I agree with Michael, the lower two thirds are the best. I love the greens in the seaweed, and i love the contrast of the blues of the water and the whites and greys of the mountain. The sky doesn't add much, but be careful of cropping too close or it could kph crowded. Nice job!

Hi Tyler!
Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll go with you and Michael and agree with you that a crop of the sky would fit the image. As it is now, I'll not do it. But if I need the picture printed, for contests etc. then I'll defiantly do it :)
