"Spring Dreaming"

Hello everyone,

After my last post here, I again, took the advice from everyone and I think my re-edit was much, much better. Thanks again.

This time, I'll post a photo I shot 3 days ago. It's from a location that I've shot before. This was actually my 4th time shooting at this location, and each time has yielded completely different photos! I think I like this one the most, but what do you guys think?

Location: Chureito Pagoda in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan

The cherry trees in full bloom attracted so many photographers this year, it was basically impossible to choose your desired composition for the sunrise, however as the day went on, the sunrise photographers left, and in came the regular tourist with their selfie sticks and point and shoots, most of them on auto mode. So for the sunset (as in this picture), it was a bit easier to get the desired composition.

The weather was nice and warm, the birds were singing, and the cherry blossom petals were gently floating down to the ground, like pink snowflakes. The picture doesn't do justice for this location. This is a place I hope everyone could eventually experience first hand, sometime in their life.

Thanks for reading. Feel free to comment and don't hesitate to give advice. It's well appreciated. Thanks.

This is a single exposure shot with a Nikon D750 + Tamron 15-30mm F2.8
@ 19mm, F9, 1/20 seconds (hand held), ISO 50

That is very pretty although I would have prefered the tower to be vertical. This is fixable in Photoshop if you don't have a tilt shift lens. Although it is better done with the lens.

Thank you Ian! I will try to fix that!

Like the shot. Similar to Elia Locardi's iconic shot.

Very well executed.
How ever I agree with Ian. The tower need some fixing.

Thank you Shyama! I'll try to straighten it!
