The horizon doesn't look horizontal - no crooked horizons ;)
I'm not sure what's the focalpoint - I need something to look at. An entire beautiful scenery is not enough ;) I'm not sure the longexposure gives much to this picture since it all just becomes one big blur. Colors are beautiful though :)
Hi my friend. Thanks for the feedback! I highly appreciate it. Maybe I should get a 2nd screen for my 13inc MacBook, I must admit I didnt see the horizon wasn't horizontal. You are correct about the focalpoint, this is an aspect I forget sometimes - an area I need to improve :-) Long exposure might be wrong at this scene, I do have an earlier shot from the same location. Just more golden but with a lot of texture in the clouds.
But thanks again Mads! :-)
I have to agree with Mads on this one, there's nothing to pull me into the scene. It's a beautiful scene but no focal point. Also the lack of texture in the clouds bothers me a bit. Sorry mikkel!
Thank you Paul, I appreciate your honesty! I just replied to Mads on the same aspects that you agree on. Don't be sorry, this might not be the best from me :-)
It screams out to be photographed and I can feel the excitement, the scene , the light, will it last, so you grab the shot with the adrenaline running. I can't tell what your surroundings were and you might be at the extreme of those rocks but I bet there are lots of different shots here once the initial buzz has passed. Step back, to the left to the right but don't fall into the ocean - bad move.
The other comments are spot on and you need to have a close look at the other shots. Bet they're there.
