First time posting at FS. Wanted to hear what I could have done better with this shot. I was backpacking through Desolation Wilderness with my gear and this was the only shot that turned out decent.

I like the basis of the image. Moving water shots are some of my favorites. On a critique, I'm always a bit hesitant to jump on color balance as you could be looking for it be this blue for an artistic approach but I would look to possibly warm it up a bit as the moving parts of the water look more baby blue to me vs white as I would think they should be. I might also look to bring up the exposure a bit as its hard to see any details in the trees on the right or the rocks on the left. Just my two cents.
As Reagan has said above, I'm not a huge fan of the heavy edit but I understand that this is an artistic choice so go with it. Technically I think this is a nice image, good water movement and I love the soft spread across the top of the pond. I'd love to see a more naturally coloured edit.
