If ever in the Tampa Bay area in Florida make sure you visit Sawgrass Lake Park in St. Petersburg. If there at the right time you can capture some pretty amazing landscape images!
This photo was taken at Sawgrass Lake Park shortly before sunset on a mild winter day. As I trekked towards what I thought was the exit of Sawgrass Lake Park, I stumbled upon this area. I was instantaneously inspired & I photographed the majestic scene. I wanted to show the expansive field of ferns with the embedded trees, along with the luminescent light from the setting sun. These visual elements worked together & created a sense of depth in the final image.
