Sunset at The Stone Church at Wachusett Reservoir in West Boylston MA

This is my first attempt at taking bracketed shots and merging them. I have heard a lot about it and figured I would give it a try. Anyone have any good tips on shooting a sunset? Thanks

Have some awesome colors in the sky. I would have liked to see some of the land that's completely dark and the water smoothed out with a longer exposure. Would suggest investing in a filter kit. A polarizer, ND, and grad filter flipped upside down, cheap man reverse grade, could have helped you out. Lee is kinda of the industry standard but pretty expensive. Hitech's has made huge strides catching up with their firecrest series of glass though.

Awesome Terry, I appreciate you taking the time to dropping some tips. I have actually been thinking about getting into grad filters. This is my first DSLR camera and so I am loving the feedback as there is much to learn. Thank you
