Niagara falls - any advice on this picture?

Took this on the NY side, I would greatly appreciate any advice on this image so I can become better, thank you.

Long exposure into the sun is certainly no easy task. The water seems like it may be too long of an exposure where you start to lose some of the defined movement and move towards blur. Also maybe less of a tight crop so the scale of the falls can be sensed through your photo.
Hope that helps! Obviously all subjective.

I like the colors you've drawn from the water, but, like Michael, I think the exposure might be a bit too long. I took a lot of shots from a similar vantage point in February and struggled to capture the scale and the energy. With a Canon 5dm4 and Tamron 24-70 G2, I ended up with two I liked, one wider shot at 36mm/ƒ/10/1/250s/ISO 100 to get the scale and one tighter shot at 66mm/ƒ/8/1/1600s/ISO 100 to capture the energy. None of my long exposures worked for me as I felt I lost the movement of water.

I recently went to the Canadian side and considered to do a shot similar to this one but realized that these falls are so magnificent to be blurred out completely. This is one of my unedited shots. What feedback can you give me? Just rediscovered photography again after my wife gifted me my first DSLR. Tried to go to school to study photography but couldn't keep at it. Have always loved it but life had prevented me from follow it so long. This time I'll keep at it...like said, any feedbacks good or bad will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
