I had been watching some youtube videos on landscape photography trying to get some inspiration at the start of 2018, Christmas had finished and I felt out of sorts.
A couple of the films showed a place that was only an hours drive from me and I started to feel my juices flowing again so one day in February I forced myself out of the house and went there.
It was (expletive) cold, wet and slippery when I got there, My car had been toasty and warm and I wanted to stay in it, but I got out walk over the boggy ground to a spot I had chosen and set up my kit.
I'm glad I did it, the fresh air and images I got helped me to get out of my funk a lot sooner than I normally do.
