This was one of those days that you wait in a spot for your sunset compositions and nothing happens. Luckily on the way back down the mountain we came around the corner and saw this sight. One of the most beautiful scenes that I had come across. The picture really doesn't do it justice. Hope you enjoy.
Hi Jerome. I have had similar experiences in the Australian Alps where you see breathtaking layers of mountains and clouds around about sunset. Usually as you come back down and can see over the top of the layers.Mountain tops appearing like islands in the clouds.The pictures we take aren't always perfect albeit we can "shop" them later.But taking the pic ensures we remember the experience we had, the now moment, the wow moment.Just seeing your pic reminds me of my experience.
