Please Help With Composition Tips!

Hello fellow community members, I am 15 years old and absolutely love landscape photography and being out in nature. Here are some of my favorite shots. Tips and critiques on how to improve my compositions and shots in general would be much appreciated! Thanks

Hi Ian. Great work!In the top one I would probably crop out the foreground and crop out on the right just left of the airplane vapour trail.2nd one I would probably position the sun just below the right extremity of the plant.3rd one I might crop about a third down from the top.4th one I might make sure the front end of the middle canoe is visible 5th one maybe crop from the right a little.4th one I would leave alone. All good exposures with an eye for what makes a photograph. You are using your camera well and maybe a little bit more thought about composition. Cropping shots is very simple to do but can vastly improve images. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, pretty much what Geoff said. Don't put pressure on yourself. You're young and Just starting out. Like anything else it takes time. Composition is key. What is the focus of the pic. Like cropping out the benches as they're not part of the story. I like the composition of the boat pic however it's a bit under exposed. If you shot this in RAW you can easily recover this in LR. Shooting into the sun in pic 2 is challenging. Perhaps blending multiple exposures would be the technique to use here.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions Geoff and John!
