Wondering which one of these images, you prefer/looks better? This is the same image. The "darker" one just has some lightroom adjustments. The "brighter" (the one where the sky is more orange) has lightroom adjustments and some adjustments made with Color Effects Pro. Let me know what you think!
Combine em ....top looks better above rocks but I like the warmer tone on the forground the bottom is a bit over done for my taste I prefer subtle changes
Top is looking better. The bottom one is way over done and you can spot the halos and artefacts in your image, but the rocks are looking good.
Can you combine them?

Great scene and composition. Top one I would probably saturate a little more.The bottom one has a painterly watercolour painting feel. It's good to be able to create art with our digital technology. It is interesting that years ago photographers were always trying to gain acceptance in the art world as legitimate art. Now we are mostly accepted as artists but some of us would say the bottom one is not real photography but art. To each his own is probably the best adage. The bottom shot the lighthouse is not as straight as in the top one. A little horizon correction.
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I agree that the bottom one is a little over done but there's something about it that I like. I've been told before that it kind of looks like a painting. I'm going to get this image printed soon and trying to decide which way I want to go with it. Combining them may be the way to go!
