One piece of feedback not directly related to the images themselves (well, sort of). I went to your website to have a look at your complete portfolio and your site is pretty slow. It took minutes for your ocean portfolio page to fully render. If you want search engines to rank you and people to stay on your site it's the single most effective (and easiest) thing to improve.
I'd start by replacing all your image files on the site with compressed versions. You can probably reduce the file sizes by up to 60%. I see you're using smugmug so not sure what options they allow you to make further improvements but speed will make a big improvement to the viewer experience on your site.
