Somewhere on Some Other Planet

We've made a photo of this minimalist landscape at the Gulf of Finland using ND500 + Strong ND grad filters during the storm. And now it looks like some strange green creations from other planet slowly creep to the stones and water...

Lens: Canon EF 16-35 f/4L IS USM

Best shot I've seen on here today :)

The *only* thing that detracts from it for me is the weed covered stone on the extreme left. The composition is weakened by the fact that it touches the edge of the frame (what I call 'edge control'). I would like to see it wholly contained. Ever other element in the shot is whole and complete but the way it extends to the left leaves you wondering if there is more to it.

But still, by far the nicest shot shared today! Well done!

Thank you for such comment David. Yes, you are right about the edge of the frame. But that day was so crazy wind and storm, so I couldn't control all things... ;)

C- for the Image A- for the listing of equipment used. Total: B-

Thank you ;)

The shot is very well done and executed it just comes down to a matter of taste for me I'm just not a fan of daytime shots I like more dark Moody even ethereal at times. This is a very technically sound and pretty photo especially like the way the rocks look like they're floating in mid air. Nice job

Thank you Joseph, I already know your passion to moody and dark images :)
