This was taken in the Redwoods that are on the North Island of New Zealand in a place called Rotorua.
I was lucky to have some mist drifting through the trees to create these beautiful beams of light making their way through to give it a heavenly feel :)

If you get out that way, do not miss out on Washington state—Olympic National Park has some of the most beautiful beaches. Rock formations abound. Attached shot is from the Hoh Rain Forest.

LOL If you meant are those sun rays I can tell you they are 100% real mate, no fixing of them. I did edit in lightroom but the rays are real :)
I don't doubt for a minute its not real. I have a similar shot to this.With redgums.I like yours better.I was really only thinking other worldly. I am also a lay preacher so can't help the odd plug or too.
Those sun rays are so angelic and you've gotta love our Redgums :) Its always good to get in a plug thats for sure :)
like i said on your post great shot ...did you happen to take a vert shot as well I'm curious if the light was breaking all the way up to the top of the canopy
Glad you like the photo Joseph. No I didnt get a vertical shot, stupid me was in too much awe and wanted to get around the place before all the crowds came. I've learnt since taking this photo a few years ago to slow down, experience and savour the place before even taking a photo. One will also find some different compositions that way :) I will get back there one day :)
yeah i am trying to get into the habit of taking both landscape and portrait just in case
It's a very nice image but the dead branch hanging down on the left side detract IMHO. I cropped it out with a card and I think in makes the image much better so I recommend either crop or clone it out. Just my $0.02.
