A few weeks back, a makeup artist reached out asking if I'd like to do a 60's inspired shoot. I thought it might be fun and put it on my list of concepts to shoot.
I took some photos of a make-up artist I work with. I think they turned out well.
Tried something new with 1kg of cotton wool that we piled up on a gray backdrop to then add a digital background.

This last year was a super busy one and I haven't been active here for a while, so I wanted to share one of my latest images with you. What do you think?
I was quite happy with this shot. I shot this handheld, with my Zeiss. I love the lens because it gives me shots like this, but she is a harsh mistress.
CC is welcomed.
Broncolor used this shot in their new Broncolor Para Brochure. They asked for it a few weeks ago.
The Para 222 was used as prime along with striplights L/R in back.

Here I used a vintage Jupiter 9 85mm.f1.5 with my A7iii on a tilt adapter at 2 degrees down tilt. Notice how the foreground grass is in focus despite the model also being in focus.
This young girl was waiting for her farther to finish his event (calf roping) at the local Rodeo. Small girl on a very big horse

Sky is a talented make up artist that I recently met in Jersey, Channel Islands as I was buying clothes in a department store. I hope you enjoy this photo as much as I do!
I haven't photographed Caitlin since before Covid. She reached out for a pool shoot. We picked up right where we left off. It's really hot in Texas.
Zoe came over for a test shoot earlier this year. We shot 3-looks that afternoon. She loved this shot. It ended up on her agency comp card. I hope you like it.

I've photographed Monic a few times. We've always had great pics. She reached out to update her portfolio and specifically wanted to shoot in a natural setting.
A surreal portrait that revolves around the concepts of beauty, desire, lust, and feminine inapprehensibility.
I decided to schedule my swimwear shoots in Spring since Summer pool shoots can be blazing hot. Only problem was... it was too cold to get in the water. We made the best of it.
Today (April 16/22) I photographed Cassandra as part of my "Primary RED Project". Her laughter and infectious smile was simply FANTASTIC.
Macy was back on Spring Break. Happy she chose to spend an afternoon with me. We shot 3 looks. I love it when the light test is a keeper. Hope you like it.
