WE HAVE LIFT OFF!

This was taken with the Sony A9 III, which I no longer own. The 120 fps was just totally over the top, I thought, and I had to deal with the lower megapixels as well, since I'm used to working at 61.

Anyway, I got this hawk just as it was taking off, as you can see. I'm very pleased with it. I was sitting in my chair and using a 70-200mm Vii and a 1x teleconverter. The focal length was 230 mm, and the aperture was f/9. This is the same bird in the photograph where it's flying straight at you.

Bald Eagle, Eagle Creek, Alaska

We were hiking in the rainforest of Southeast Alaska. Eagles were EVERYWHERE, though at a long distance, along this creek looking for salmon.

Falco Wyomingii

This little bird is a hybrid of a Peregrine Falcon, the fastest bird and the fastest animal in all of creation, and a Gyrfalcon.

BARN OWL

These are my favourite owls to dat. I used to keep Persian cats and their faces and eye shape and colour remind me very much of them. Theri faces look like an artist created them.
