Camera Matchmaking in the Style of a Dating Game

Most of the articles on Fstoppers are serious. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty burned out from this COVID-19 thing and thought this video was hilarious.

I'm not sure if it's the lockdown boredom or an accumulation of years of brand wars, but I found this video extraordinarily entertaining and just had to share it. If you don't see it as funny, I'm sure you'll let me know in the comments.

Tony and Chelsea Northrup often provide great videos, and this one is no exception, although it's not the typical Northrup style. In this video, Chelsea digs into her wig collection and asks, "What would it be like if we were matched to our perfect camera like an old dating show?" Performing the parts of both the contestant and the "cameras," Chelsea performs at an Oscar level in this humorous and lighthearted poke at a few of the big camera manufacturers. Tony also plays a small part, but I think Chelsea steals the show on this one.

Playing no favorites to anyone, the Northrups poke fun at Canon, Nikon, Leica, Panasonic, Fujifilm, and Sony in the most delightful way. I was disappointed that Olympus was absent — or maybe that makes it even more appropriate.
