7 Tips for Better Landscape and Cityscape Photo Compositions

Part of the challenge of landscape and city photography is that you can't control the physical placement of anything but yourself, which makes creating compelling compositions a particularly challenging skill. Composition is something a lot of photographers struggle with, particularly in landscape work, and one of the most common mistakes I notice is simply trying to do too much with one image and ending up with an overly busy and unfocused frame. One of the easiest things you can do to improve your compositions is to simplify them.
