How to Change the Color of an Object in Lightroom

With every new update that's released, it seems that Lightroom is becoming ever more powerful as an editing tool. Learn how to use Lightroom to target specific elements in your image and easily change colors.

I have to be honest and say that until recently, I'd barely used Lightroom for years. I always found it very cumbersome as an organizational tool, and it was far too temperamental and slow on my computers. Having learned to edit in Photoshop, I never really felt the need to use Lightroom very often, especially when the Camera Raw Filter was always there to access through Photoshop if I needed it. However, in the last six months or so, for various reasons, I've been using it a lot more, and I have to say it's come a long way in a short space of time.

In this video brought to you by Phlearn, Aaron Nace shows you how to accurately target specific areas of your image and change their colors. For example, you can target a subject's shirt, someone's pants, a handbag, or even a pair of shoes, and change the colors to whatever you want. In the process, you're given a perfect example of just how powerful and useful Lightroom has become as an editing tool by learning about the new masking and selecting capabilities in recent iterations of Lightroom. Give it a look and let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
