Composite photo shot at the Marlera in Ližnjan, Croatia during October's Harvest Supermoon event. Shot the photo atop Cape Marlera, overlooking the Punta Greca vineyard and the Adriatic Sea. Luckily, had no wind on that evening. Had to wait for the moon to rise a bit higher in the sky, because of the clouds at the horizon.
Camera set-up on tripod with on-camera flash and MagMod sphere diffuser. Shot image with a bit of flash to illuminate the foreground. Second image was shot to expose just the moon.
Processed both images in LrC, then sent them over to PS. Removed the moon from the sky using AI removal and then replaced it with layers, using the lighten/blending mode. This is the best and easiest way I've found to composite the moon. YouTube video from Jason P. Odell Photography.
