The first time I hiked to The Wave, I brought my 24-70mm lens and regretted it. The second time, I brought my 16-35mm lens for the win. It's a long day and hike so water over gear is the priority. Each visit is slightly different with lighting, water level in the pools and sky....although we got boring blue skies.
Might have to try my luck one more time for the daily lottery since the odds are better in the winter time.
