Sandisk continues to push forward with the release of their record breaking Sandisk Ultra 400GB microSDXC UHS-I Card. Now owned by Western Digital, Sandisk once again topped their previous record-breaking 200GB & 256GB models released in the prior two years.
The new 400GB card is extremely fast as well. Its Class 10 speed rating allows for read speeds of up to 100MB/s and write speeds of up to 10MB/s. This equates to transfer speeds of 1200 photos per minute. The speed and size of this card make it capable of recording up to 40 hours of full HD video. With its A1 App Performance Class specifications, Sandisk also claims that this microSD will allow for faster load times for apps as well.
The newest card is durable, claiming to be water, shock, temperature, and x-ray proof. It is also compatible with Sandisk’s Memory Zone App, a Google Play Store app that is a convenient way to manage your files. With this app downloaded to your device, you can view, access, and backup your files automatically into one place.
Read speeds of up to 100MB/s and write speeds of up to 10MB/s. This equates to transfer speeds of 150 read/15 write (2-3 second burst) photos per minute, as for me :)
But 400GB is impressive, though with these speeds it will be hard to fill it.
Need, knowing my luck I'd probably lose it in a week lol
Without a fast write speed, I don't see the point in something like this.
400GB is impressive thanks for the info.
