36 straight hours of freezing fog hit our area a couple of weeks ago. I spent quite a bit of time in this area the afternoon before exploring and taking photos. The advisory for the area said that we were to expect the fog to leave overnight. I set my alarm to make sure I didn't miss sunrise and woke up and went quickly check conditions. Saw things were shaping up for some great colour and headed to this spot. I would like to say I gave myself plenty of time but that is a lie. I wound up running about 2km in full winter gear and pack to get this spot just in time for colour to leave the sky.
